New Chao Chow

Does my life revolve around food? Yes, and why shouldn't it. Better food than my lack of sleep or my blackened heart.

New York magazine had recently done a slew of articles about Chinatown just around Chinese New Year and their list of eateries was a source of inspiration for my weekly forays downtown. Thursday's adventure in Chinatown took us to New Chao Chow on Mott, a spot that "specializes in sub-regional Cantonese cooking called 'chiu chow.'" All that means to me is that it's cheap and tasty. Gotta love those noodle soups filled with wontons, mmm.
